Our Shipping Commitment

At Gateway to Africa every order is handcrafted with care by skilled artisans in Nigeria and carefully packaged in our branded luxury packaging before being shipped to you. Because our pieces are made to order in limited quantities please allow adequate production and processing time before your order ships.


Processing Time

All Gateway to Africa orders require a processing time of 4 to 6 weeks from the date of purchase. This processing time reflects the handcrafted nature of our products — each garment is individually constructed, quality inspected, and carefully packaged by our Nigeria based production team before shipping.

You will receive an email notification with your tracking information as soon as your order has been dispatched from our Nigeria warehouse.

Please note that shipping times are estimates and begin from the date your order is dispatched — not from the date of purchase. Actual delivery times may vary due to customs processing, local carrier conditions, and other factors outside our control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the weight of your order. We work with trusted Nigerian logistics partners to provide the most reliable and cost effective shipping options available.

We periodically offer free shipping promotions for waitlist members and loyal customers. Subscribe to our email list to be notified of upcoming promotions.


Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched from our Nigeria warehouse you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this tracking number to monitor your delivery through our logistics partner's website.

Please allow 24 to 48 hours for tracking information to become active after you receive your shipping confirmation email.


Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Gateway to Africa ships internationally from Nigeria. Your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees charged by your country's customs authority upon arrival. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.

We are unable to predict or control customs charges as they vary by country and are determined by local customs authorities. We recommend checking with your local customs office for information about potential charges before placing your order.

Gateway to Africa is required by law to accurately declare the value and contents of all international shipments on customs documentation. We are unable to falsify customs declarations.


Shipping to Multiple Addresses

At this time we are only able to ship each order to one address. If you would like to send Gateway to Africa pieces to multiple addresses please place separate orders for each address.


Lost or Delayed Shipments

While we work with trusted logistics partners to ensure reliable delivery, occasional delays or lost shipments may occur due to factors outside our control including customs processing, weather events, or carrier issues.

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window please contact us at [your business email] with your order number and tracking information. We will work with our logistics partner to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Gateway to Africa is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer, or circumstances beyond our control.


Incorrect Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order. Gateway to Africa is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

If you notice an error in your shipping address please contact us immediately at [your business email]. If your order has not yet been dispatched we will do our best to update your address. Once an order has been dispatched we are unable to redirect shipments.


Packaging

Every Gateway to Africa order is packaged in our premium branded packaging including luxury boxes, garment bags, tissue paper, and branded labels — reflecting the premium identity of our brand. Your unboxing experience is as important to us as the garment inside.
